Europe’s Journal of Psychology is published four times a year (February, May, August and November). Articles can be submitted at any time and generally the review process (double-blind peer review) takes between four and six weeks. Consequently the journal has one of the fastest and most effective peer review systems shortening considerably the time between submission and publication.
The papers will be submitted electronically by e-mail to psy.journal@gmail.com. If you are interested in sending a book for review please contact the editor at the same e-mail address and you will be offered details about the postal address where the book should be sent.
Europe’s Journal of Psychology considers for publication:
Articles should be written in proficient English (UK or US spelling) and they are expected to be logical, well-organized, and concise. If English is not your native language, please consider using the services of an editor. Papers will be evaluated by the Editorial Board in terms of scientific merit, readability, and interest to a general readership. See Article Review Form
As an open access journal EJOP, doesn’t have funds for copy editing so articles should be sent in a format that is ready for publication. The journal currently uploads articles as pdf files but authors are required to send their material in Word (.doc or .docx) to allow the insertion of comments during the review process.
The manuscripts should be prepared as following:
- All text should be written with the font Century Gothic of different sizes. The title font 14, the name of the author font 13 and the affiliation of the author font 11.5, abstract and key-words font 11, text of the article font 11.5, references font 11. Titles of sections in-text should be font 13 (and sub-titles font 11). No titles should be written in bold and all should use Title Case and be left-aligned except the main title of the article which is Title Case and centered.
- The manuscript should be written on A4 pages with the following margins: top, right and bottom 0.7 inches and left 1 inch. Line spacing throughout the article should be Multiple at 1.3
- Pages should be numbered with no number on the first page. The header should alternate with the second page writing “Europe’s Journal of Psychology” and the third the running title of the article (written in Century Gothic font 11).
- There should be a blank space left between all paragraphs (and also between each entry in the reference list) and the first line of each paragraph should never be intended. Two blank spaces are left only between 1) the title and the name(s) of the author(s), 2) between the affiliation of the last author and the abstract, 3) between the key-words and the main text of the article, 4) the body of the article and the References and 5) between the last reference and the “About the author(s)” section. Leave four blank spaces between the top and the title of the article.
- All articles (research reports, theoretical contributions, literature reviews) must include an abstract of no more than 250 words. The abstract of research reports should state briefly the following: topic, hypotheses, method, participants, conclusions and their significance. The abstract of literature reviews and theoretical contributions should state briefly the following: topic, theses, bibliographical sources, analysis criteria, conclusions and their significance. After the abstract, please supply five to seven keywords or brief phrases.
- For reference citations, please use APA style (5th Edition). Particular care should be taken to ensure that references are accurate and complete. Authors bear responsibility for the accuracy of all references and quotations. References should be listed in alphabetical order. Each listed reference should be cited in text, and each text citation should be listed in the References.

- All tables, figures, captions should be inserted in-text in their normal position and not at the end of the document (unless they are considered as appendices).
- The author’s name and institutional affiliation should appear on the first page only. A short (one paragraph) biographical statement for each author of the article should also be included in the end of the article (after the references section) along with the corresponding address (e-mail and/or postal address of the corresponding author, usually the first author of the paper).

We welcome articles of up to 10,000 words in length. If the article goes over this word limit please explain in your e-mail why more space is needed.
All contributions should be accompanied by a statement indicating that 1) the work has not been previously published and 2) that it is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal. In the case of empirical research the authors should also state if the study received appropriate ethical review and clearance, thus meeting all ethical standards for research.
The copyright of the materials is kept by author and therefore anyone aiming to republish material from EJOP should contact the author(s) primarily. It is important whenever articles are republished to acknowledge Europe’s Journal of Psychology as the initial source of publication, including the issue number, year of publication and electronic address of the source.
Please note that there is no author fee for papers published in Europe’s Journal of Psychology.
