A Century of Psychology at the University of Bucharest

Between 26 and 29 Octobers it took place the International Conference “A Century of Psychology at Bucharest University”, at Bucharest the Capital of Romania. The scientific event was organized by the Faculty of Psychology- Bucharest University.
The University of Bucharest celebrated this year 100 years from the inauguration of the first Laboratory of Psychology by Constantin Radulescu-Motru, the disciple of W. Wundt. This was also the beginning of the Academic Psychology Studies at Bucharest University.

On this occasion, it has been organized a conference and a series of workshops in the field of History of Psychology, Experimental Psychology and Applied Psychology, Cognition and Neurosciences followed by the CD and papers book presented at the conference session.
The event project shall be included in the European Union’s PF 7 Programme as CEEX program of the Ministry of Education.
The scientific program on the four days-conference had a large variety of presentations: papers presentations on sections, posters, plenary sessions and thirteen work shops.

Almost in the same time it took place The National Symposium “Ten years of Experiential Therapy of Unification in Romania” organized under the coordination of the founding Director of the Experiential Psychoterapy School in Romania, Prof. Dr. Iolanda Mitrofan.

As a reward and gratitude for the participants and the great preparation of the scientific and social programs, the Director of the Organizer Committee- Prof. Mihai Anitei offered a Special Diploma and a Special Edition Historical Coin in the memory of Constantin Radulescu Motru and the Anniversary of a Century of Psychology at Bucharest University.
